1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, login details, billing details, support messages, and workspace or team information.
We also collect service data needed to operate WooStoreAudit, such as connected store URLs, audit results, report configuration, monitoring events, uptime checks, invite metadata, API key metadata, and related account activity.
Technical data such as IP addresses, device or browser information, cookies, authentication/session data, and product-usage analytics may also be collected to secure and improve the service.
2. How we use information
We use collected information to provide the service, authenticate users, run audits, generate reports, deliver alerts, operate billing, provide support, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and comply with legal obligations.
We may also use aggregated or de-identified information to understand product usage and improve performance or feature decisions.
3. Billing and payment data
Payments may be handled by third-party processors. For purchases processed through Paddle, Paddle may act as merchant of record and may collect and process payment, invoicing, and tax-related information under Paddle's own policies and compliance obligations.
We do not store full payment-card details on our own systems unless explicitly stated in a checkout flow.
4. How we share information
We share information only as reasonably necessary to run the service, including with infrastructure providers, email or authentication providers, analytics or monitoring providers, payment processors, and support tools.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our terms, to protect the security of the service, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We may use cookies, session tokens, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure accounts, measure usage, and improve application performance.
6. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security or abuse-prevention records.
Retention periods may vary based on the type of data, your account status, and operational or legal requirements.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect data, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and for using connected-store credentials appropriately.
8. Your choices
You may request access, correction, deletion, or export of your personal information by contacting us. We may need to retain certain records where required for legal, security, billing, or legitimate operational reasons.
You can also stop using the service, disconnect stores, or cancel subscriptions subject to applicable billing terms.
9. Children's privacy
WooStoreAudit is intended for business and professional use and is not directed to children.
